Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for design and development of Software Applications. Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt it in new hardware or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance. (approximately 20% of work time)
  • Design and develop software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design. (approximately 10%of work time)
  • Interact with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements and resolve customer problems (approximately 15% of work time)
  • Analyze information to determine, recommend and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system. (approximately 15% of work time)
  • Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures. Direct software programming and development of documentation. (approximately 15% of work time)
  • Interact with clients on project status, proposal and technical issues such as software design and maintenance. Advice clients about, or perform, maintenance of software system. Coordinate installation of software system. (approximately 15%of work time)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Involve in DevOps migration/automation processes for build and deploy systems
  • Set up the new repositories, managing the permissions for various GIT branches and work on new development branches, merge branches, and facilitate the releases
  • Set up Jenkins for continuous integration process and configure various jobs in Jenkins for deployment and running test suites
  • Configure and use JIRA for bug tracking and functional testing
  • Configure AWS IAM and Security Group in Public and Private Subnets in VPC and manage AWS EC2 instances utilizing Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balancing for QA and UAT environments as well as infrastructure servers for GIT and Chef.
  • Deploy applications on AWS by using Elastic Beanstalk and design and deploy AWS solutions using EC2, RDS, EBS, Elastic Load Balancer, Auto-scaling groups, Ops works.
